Measuring patient satisfaction

At Capio, we continuously measure patient satisfaction across all our facilities. After a visit, all patients receive a text message with a link to our satisfaction survey, which provides us with valuable insight into their experiences with us. Every month, we compile the responses and analyze both what we’re doing well and where we can improve. The results are shared across hospitals and actively used to develop and improve the patient experience.

External measurement of patient satisfaction

Our own satisfaction survey complements the nationwide “LUP” (National Survey of Patient Experience), which is conducted annually among all public and private hospitals by the Center for Patient Involvement (Capital Region).

Both LUP and our own internal metrics are powerful tools for continuously improving the quality of our work and ensuring that our quality standards are met.

The LUP Survey 2025

Capio Private Hospital has performed exceptionally well in the latest LUP survey from 2025. We greatly appreciate our patients’ positive feedback on our hospital and our work, and we are both delighted and proud of the survey results.

The 2025 LUP survey of outpatients and inpatients shows that Capio achieves an average score that is above the national average for Danish hospitals, with particularly high scores in areas such as welcoming and friendly staff and satisfaction with the information provided. Patients emphasize that they feel well-informed and involved in decisions regarding their treatment.
