Introduction

Jesper Bjerg is a specialist in surgery with subspecialization in hernia surgery and gallstone surgery. In the period 2015-2023, he was head of the section for gallstone and hernia surgery at the Department of Surgery, OUH Svendborg, which is one of the country's largest departments in terms of the number of hernia and gallstone operations. He was also in charge of the regional function for advanced hernia surgery in the Region of Southern Denmark.

Jesper has extensive experience with both open and laparoscopic surgery in these areas. He also has extensive experience with binocular examination of the stomach, colon and rectum (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).
