Alexander Isenberg-Jørgensen has worked with back problems at a highly specialized level in Germany from 2006-2012. From 2012-2018, he worked as a consultant at the Spine Center of Southern Denmark, focusing on primary surgical treatment of degenerative disorders of the lumbar spine and neck, partly with open, partly with minimally invasive and microscopically advanced techniques.

Co-author of the national clinical guideline for the treatment of neck pain.
Reintroduction of surgical and conservative treatment of painful transitional variations in the lumbar/pelvic region in Denmark.
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA/ Denervation) of the faced joint and SI joint as a pain treatment for low back and neck pain after prior blockades.
