Yes, in consultation with your doctor, it is possible to receive a sedative during the scan to help you relax and possibly fall asleep during the scan.
Am I healthy if the scan looks normal?
A full-body MRI scan is a snapshot, so we can't guarantee with 100% certainty that nothing is wrong, but the scan gives you a clear and reliable indication of whether something serious is wrong with you right now.

I have metal objects in my body - can I be scanned?
The powerful magnetic field of the MRI scanner can be disturbed by metal objects during the scan. You may not be able to have an MRI scan if you have:
