Why prevention?
A CT scan is an advanced X-ray examination of the body's tissues and organs. During the scan, we take X-ray images of the area you need to be examined. The images are then analyzed by one of our experienced radiology specialists. The scan itself lasts only a few minutes, and you will always be greeted by a radiographer who has extensive experience in supporting and guiding our patients through a CT scan.
CT scan with and without contrast fluid
Some scans are supplemented with contrast injections into a vein. The contrast makes the scan more precise, as you can see specific information about the body's vessels and the blood supply to the organs. This makes it easier to distinguish between diseased and healthy tissue. Our experienced specialists will assess whether a contrast-enhanced scan is relevant in your specific situation.
