Before any surgery, you’ll have an initial consultation where we discuss your wishes and expectations and answer any questions you may have. You are always welcome to bring a relative to the consultation. For cosmetic procedures, at least one week must pass between the consultation and the operation, in accordance with Danish regulations.

Information about facial surgery

Eyelids

Turkey neck

Turkey neck occurs in some older people and is caused by excess skin forming under the chin as a result of natural ageing processes. If the turkey neck is bothersome, it is possible to have it surgically corrected by one of our plastic surgery specialists.

Loose skin in the corner of the mouth

Skin tags at the corner of the mouth can be removed directly with a small surgical procedure. The ideal candidate is a slim person with loose skin at the corner of the mouth. Thick and inelastic skin is not suitable for the surgery. A prerequisite for surgery is that you are a non-smoker, as smoking significantly increases the risk of complications.
