The treatment guarantee is reintroduced today

 

With the treatment guarantee, you as a patient are entitled to be examined or treated within 30 days. If the waiting time in the public sector is longer than 30 days, you can be examined, assessed and treated by us.

 

What does the reintroduction mean for you as a patient at Capio Privathospital?

Public patient

If you are a public patient, you can now once again make use of the Extended Free Choice of Hospital, which allows you to be treated at a private hospital if the waiting time in the public sector is more than 30 days.

Insurance patient

If you wish to use your health insurance with us, this is also possible. We have agreements with most insurance companies and ensure you a quick appointment for both examination and treatment, including surgery.

If you wish to use your health insurance, please contact your insurance company to clarify whether your insurance covers treatment with us.

Self-payer/private patient

If you are a self-payer/private patient, you can, as always, quickly come to us for a preliminary examination and treatment without a referral from your own doctor or hospital. Imaging examinations are excluded (X-rays, including DEXA scans, ultrasound scans, mammography and MRI scans, including prostate scans), as these require a referral.
