Today, more than 2.7 million Danes - either as private individuals or through their employer - have taken out health insurance that covers certain expenses for examination, investigation and treatment in case of suspected illness or other problems. If you have health insurance, you can use it to gain access to rapid examination and treatment in the private sector.
Capio Privathospital cooperates with most pension and insurance companies in Denmark, and will therefore in many cases be able to help you with both assessment and treatment. At Capio, in the vast majority of cases, we ensure an examination with a maximum waiting time of 10 working days.

Back surgery at Capio
I had lower back surgery at Capio Hellerup over a year ago. I have been incredibly happy with the treatment I received during my hospitalization by both doctors and nurses and the follow-ups they gave me. Huge praise from here.
