Introduction

Dina Reem Matzen is a specialist in plastic surgery. She has many years of experience in plastic surgery and breast surgery and has trained at Rigshospitalet and Herlev Hospital, among others. Dina continuously participates in international courses and congresses and has taught doctors and nurses at various plastic surgery departments around Denmark. She has also previously started a course series for patients with melanoma in Region Zealand.

Dina has a broad scientific interest which has resulted in several scientific publications especially in the areas of breast implant related diseases, breast corrections, skin cancer and wound care.

Dina values good patient contact and performs her work with a high level of professionalism and compassion so that the patient feels heard, safe and in good hands from the first meeting to the end of the treatment. She is committed and dedicated to her work and has an eye for the small details. Dina always strives to keep the patient happy and satisfied and aims for an aesthetic, precise, well-proportioned and natural-looking result.

Dina has also participated in voluntary charity work and has been deployed with a British plastic surgery organization, Interplast UK, to Kashmir and Uganda, where she operated on burn victims, children with cleft lip and palate, acid damaged women and patients with large keloid scar formation. She has also spent time in Jordan, where she shadowed a renowned plastic surgeon.

Dina lives in Hellerup with her husband and their three young children: four-year-old twins and a five-year-old brother.
