Introduction

Jan has more than 30 years of experience with sleep medicine issues from both clinical work, sleep research and teaching, and today he is one of Denmark's most recognized sleep experts.

Already as a young resident, he participated in sleep research projects at Glostrup Hospital, and he was responsible for the development of the sleep medicine function when he became a consultant at the ear, nose and throat department at Nyköpings Lasarett in Sweden.
