Previously and currently employed as consultant responsible for spine surgery at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Viborg Regional Hospital
Further training in spine surgery in Viborg and at Aarhus University Hospital.

In addition to his specialist training in orthopaedic spine surgery and general orthopaedic surgical skills, Jørgen Østergaard has a special interest in hip joint replacement.

Jørgen Østergaard has many years of experience in treating surgical diseases of the lumbar spine, including treatment of herniated discs and segmental instability.
