Introduction

Steen has a broad experience in plastic surgery since he became a specialist in 1997 and he has always had a scientific approach to his profession and offers treatments in areas he is very good at and which meet patients' wishes for safety and quality. This experience has benefited, among other things, the Danish Patient Safety Authority, where he has served as an expert advisor in plastic surgery, including cosmetic surgery, for 16 years until 2021. 

Steen has participated in numerous courses and congresses both nationally and internationally and keeps up to date with the latest trends in plastic surgery. Steen values a good and caring relationship with his patients, who can count on a plastic surgeon who performs operations with an eye for the finer details.

As one of the few plastic surgeons in Denmark, Steen obtained his medical doctorate (Dr. med.) back in 1995 and has since published a large number of scientific articles in various plastic surgery fields.
