Introduction

Martin Lindberg-Larsen is a professor of orthopaedic surgery and specializes in knee replacement surgery. Since 2014, Martin has mainly worked with the surgical treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee (knee replacement surgery), including total knee replacements, partial knee replacements (uni-knee) and re-operations (revisions).

Science and education

Employed as professor and head of research in orthopaedic surgery at Odense University Hospital (University of Southern Denmark) and is responsible for teaching medical students and supervising PhD students.

Has published a large number of scientific articles in the field of knee and hip replacement surgery with a special focus on surgical strategies (including fast-track surgery) and patient safety during and after surgery.

Has been an invited speaker at several national and international congresses.
