Jesper Bjerg is a specialist in surgery with subspecialization in hernia surgery and gallstone surgery. He is the head of the gallstone and hernia surgery section at the Department of Surgery, OUH Svendborg, which is one of the largest departments in Denmark in terms of the number of hernia and gallstone operations.Jesper has extensive experience with both open and laparoscopic surgery in these areas. In addition, he handles the regional function for advanced hernia surgery and also has extensive experience with binocular examination of the stomach, colon and rectum (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).
