An MRI scan uses a magnetic field and radio waves to examine parts of the body through delta-jilled images of organs and tissues. The strength of the magnetic field is measured in Tesla, and the stronger the magnetic field, the better the image quality. The scan is completely harmless to the body and has no side effects.
